ZHUYAONEIRONG:The infiltration of polymers into porous hosts will be addressed. Polymer infiltration is relevant to the template-based preparation of nanorods and nanotubes, for the preparation and understanding of nanocomposites as well as for the preparation of topographically patterned surfaces by replication molding. However, infiltration of polymers into host materials is a complex process that might result in the formation of long-lived non-equilibrium states.
